    Kantar Media are looking for an outstanding individual who shares our passion for commercial insight, and the impact it has on our clients creative and commercial success.

    Role requirements

    • Previous professional environment experience preferable, ideally in a media, research, consulting, or similar business
    • An active curiosity about media, advertising, and the evolving digital data landscape.
    • You are highly organised and manage your time optimally.
    • You consider yourself a ‘people person’ and get a buzz from meeting new people, either virtually or in person
    • You know your way around Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    • A consultative approach to clients, you are as good at listening as you are at communicating.
    • A self-starter who proactively seeks new opportunities to learn and develop
    • You love being part of a team and contributing to making outstanding things happen!

    What will you be doing?

    Your role is a key member of the TGI Business Development Team, reporting directly to the Head of TGI Business Development and Agency Partnerships.

    This role has an intensive 3-month training programme where you will be supported on a journey to become an authority in all areas of the TGI business. This hands-on training will include.

    • Mentoring from key members of the TGI Management Team
    • Shadowing members of the Customer Success, Client Services and New Business Sales teams to learn best practice and gain exposure to clients from week 1

    You will initially be supporting and helping drive revenue and relationships across retained business and new revenues from greenfield clients.

    Typical day to day activities include:

    • Shadowing client meetings with senior members of the team, this could be with the world’s largest media agency, groupm or supporting in a pitch to Netflix or TikTok.
    • Training on how to turn data into Insight Stories, harnessing the power of data to deliver significant growth to our clients.
    • Using your new skills to provide sales support activities to the TGI Business Development Team, Inc. sales and marketing presentation preparation, TGI insight runs, lead research and proposal writing and much more
    • Lead generation, finding new commercial relationship opportunities through desk research and outbound activities
    • After training, you’ll be calling, emailing, using LinkedIn and other sales software to make contact and network with decision makers
    • Qualifying and moving prospective leads into and through the sales funnel
    • Working closely with marketing, handling Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) tracking
    • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

    At the end of your 3 months on-boarding, success looks like;

    • A fully rounded and confident knowledge of our client bases, and the benefits each TGI solution offers their business.
    • A portfolio of clients, which you will lead on (3-5 clients initially)
    • A new business patch to cultivate and convert new business opportunities
