Join Kantar ComTech as a Global Category Analyst to grow your Consumer Electronics, Telecoms and Entertainment industry knowledge and develop your analytical skills. Go on to build stories for our clients that inspire them to make successful decisions using our world class consumer panel data. Working with Kantar ComTech in a global role gives you access to some of the world’s largest brands such as Samsung, Apple, Google, Amazon, Disney, Tesco Mobile and more. This mix of clients means that the role is all about variety, allowing you to apply and develop a wide range of skills.
Key Outcomes
- Work on large project briefs using your analytical expertise to identify and deliver actionable insights.
- Help our clients to deliver against their strategy and business objectives adding extra value whenever possible
- Work with large global technology brands, helping to influence their marketing decisions and strategy.
- Opportunity to learn advanced analytical skills with tools such as Power BI, SQL etc.
- Learn to build, design and present data in cloud-based data visualisation tools such as Power BI
- Ensure continuation of best-in-class servicing to client accounts with a view to maintaining excellent review scores.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with your key contacts.
- Delivery of presentations.
- Working with some of the leading researchers and award-winning research teams in the technology industry.
- Regular meetings on-site and in different locations with clients may be required once covid restrictions are lifted.
- Create delivery solutions for changing client needs using analytical tools
- This role may involve international travel once covid restrictions are lifted
Role Requirements
- Degree level candidate
- Solid analytical skills
- Be comfortable working with large sets of numbers regularly, spotting data trends and inaccuracies
- An interest in learning an analytical skillset with tools such as Power BI
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Ability to transform large sets of numbers into insightful story telling
- Confidence to present data & analysis in an easy-to-understand manner
- Outstanding people skills with the ability to build relationships, act assertively and challenge when necessary
- Proficient at Microsoft programmes: PowerPoint, Excel. The ability to create and locate information in these applications is important.
- Tableau, Power BI etc. experience beneficial
- This role would benefit from a genuine passion and interest of Consumer Technology & Telecoms industry (Smartphones, TV, Telecoms, Streaming etc.)
