In this role as a Junior Brand Manager for the Molton Brown team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the integrated Marketing and PR strategies in support of profitable growth for the UK & Ireland market.This role will assist its manager and play a pivotal role in driving an annual program of agreed Marketing and PR activities designed to drive awareness and customer acquisition, while ensuring sustainable business growth and protecting brand's luxury positioning.

What you will do:

  • Leveraging the global product and marketing calendars, work with the department to plan and execute the PR and Media campaign calendars for UK & Ireland, to drive awareness, footfall and conversion within Molton Brown retail environments.
  • Take active participation in defining and executing the PR plans across all launches.
  • Support brand objectives on strategic Blockbuster campaigns, as well as on tactical Secondary launches through the execution of distinctive PR events and outreach plans by the agency, to ensure outstanding editorial coverage that supports the brand proposition across all media types.
  • Execute Industry PR plans to elevate brand profile.
  • Own day to day relationship with the PR agency.
  • Own the execution of PR events, Creative mailer (driving brainstorms), PR materials briefing & development, manage PR stock send-out, etc. all year round.
  • Work hand in hand with internal Digital team to align on Influencer strategies.
  • Evaluate each action against KPIs and report back.
  • Work hand in hand with manager to develop Media campaigns in line with brand positioning as well as audience targeting strategy.
  • Execute and implement the Media campaigns (incl. events), in support of key campaigns or evergreen brand positioning.
  • Evaluate each action against KPIs and report back.
  • Effectively execute strong tactical communication plans in support of trade and footfall objectives.
  • Inclusive but not limited to: Shopping centers & outlets on-going communications, media plans in support of store refits and trade plans, etc.
  • Responsible for the execution of brand elevating activities, such as Awards strategy definition and execution, National brand partnerships execution, local brand partnerships validation, etc.
  • Report back on competitors activity.
  • Manage day to day budget tracking. Report back in timely manner and make recommendations in line with objectives by campaign.


What you will need:

  • Education to degree level
  • PR and Marketing experience, preferably in the Beauty industry
  • Travel within UK and ROI possible
  • Consumer obsessed. Passionate about Beauty products, brands and retailing
  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive with a high level of initiative and a clear focus on delivering tangible results
  • Commercially minded
  • A team player, collaborative in nature
  • Diplomacy and cultural sensitivity
