The team you will be joining
You will be joining a small, rapidly growing technical team in London, comprised of data scientists, engineers and product delivery specialists. We are a young, diverse group who work across the full range of Kayrros products, collaborating closely with the Paris teams to develop new, ground-breaking solutions.
Role
- Use Python day-to-day for analysis and development
- Work collaboratively with data scientists and engineers to develop and maintain solutions
- Solve data-centric quantitative problems independently and as part of a team
- Come up with new ideas for products and features
- Work with clients to understand and solve their problems
- Collaborate across different functions (sales, marketing, infra etc.) to develop our offering
- Present complex information in an understandable format to communicate a point
- Prepare external communications (publications, presentations, client emails)
Requirements
This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking for a six-month internship starting in June 2023 and you want to join a fast-growing start-up.
- You are interested in the energy, finance & tech industries
- You have experience using Python
- You can work efficiently in a high-paced setting as part of a team
- You have an analytical mindset and enjoy formulating and solving complex quantitative problems
- You are interested in working with geospatial datasets
- You are business-proficient in English
- Experience using pandas, machine learning frameworks, geospatial tools (geopandas, rasterio, GDAL etc.) and Docker would be useful
