    Main purpose of the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an ESG Analyst to join us on a fixed term contract for 12 months, commencing late Summer 2024. This role would particularly suit a placement student given the timescales, or we would also be interested in applications from graduates with degrees in a related field.

We are relatively flexible in terms of the base location of this role, however a candidate based in the South Yorkshire area would be at an advantage, as they will be required to work from our Doncaster head office on a regular basis.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Finance and Sustainability functions with quality carbon emission reporting, energy use reporting and other environmental, social and governance data related reporting tasks. The ESG Analyst will also support with providing data and analysis relevant to target setting, forecasting, KPIs, and risk and opportunity assessment. They will ensure a clear line of communication with the Finance department and internal audit functions.

    Skills, knowledge and experience

We are looking for someone who fits with our core values here at Keepmoat; they will be passionate with a keen enthusiasm for ESG reporting, with a clear commitment to continual improvement. They will be collaborative, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships. They will take a straightforward, can-do attitude to problem solving and have strong analytical and critical skills, with the confidence to question and challenge. The successful candidate will be innovative and creative, applying this to their level of communications, creating data and statistics that can be used to inform our sustainability strategy and support real environmental and social improvements on the ground.

    Education qualifications

    • The post holder will hold (or be working towards, for placement students) a relevant degree e.g. environmental, mathematics, statistics etc.
