Directly responsible to Technical Manager & Lead Engineer for project related activities.

The role

The role is to be part of a design team, based at Stockton head office, working under a nominated Lead Engineer for the design, configuration, testing and commissioning of Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) for Power applications (including Renewables).

Primary Tasks and Duties:

  • Adhering to the Quality Assurance and Cybersecurity requirements defined for the project
  • Working as part of a project team
  • Prepare I/O schedules/Signal Lists from Client provided information (such as Schematics / Relay Configuration Files) and discussions
  • Write Functional Design Specifications from User Requirement Specifications, Control Philosophies and Client discussions
  • Prepare test documentation to demonstrate project scope has been delivered
  • Assist in the development of the System Architecture
  • Development, modification and testing of Controller, HMI, SCADA and Network device software
  • Client Factory Acceptance Testing (CFAT)
  • Onsite commissioning support
  • Review technical documentation and software produced by others

Secondary Tasks and Duties:

  • Purchase requestions for project specified equipment
