    As a Graduate Naval Architect, you will be working on several projects, from designing offshore wind farms and sub-stations, to advising clients on the range of services we offer. Discuss complex engineering solutions. Learn about feasibility studies, concepts and life extensions. You’ll need to meet client budgets, raise their expectations and consider their requirements in everything you do. Responsibilities you could take on include: 

    • Learning all about specialised tools, such as Ansys, AQWA, DNV, SESAM, Simulia Abaqus and lots more
    • Analysing vessels and offshore structures using specialist techniques, such as hydrodynamic analysis, mooring analysis and stability analysis
    • Designing and analysing floating and fixed offshore structures, from wind turbines to semi-submersibles

    Who you are

Our Graduates should also embrace diversity, equality and inclusion in everything they do. You should be a recent graduate with a 2:1 bachelor’s degree or a 2:2 Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or Ship Science. Other qualities we like to see in you are:
