    Position Overview

    As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in our hospital’s financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and expenses. Your attention to detail, effective communication skills, and commitment to compliance will contribute to the hospital’s overall financial health.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
    • Enter invoice details into the financial management system, maintaining accurate records.
    • Collaborate with departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices.
    • Reconcile employee expense reports against documentation.
    • Assist in the month-end closing process and financial reporting.

    Qualifications

    • School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
    • 1-2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
    • Effective communication skills for vendor interactions and team collaboration.
    • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Strong organisational skills for managing multiple tasks.
