    King’s Marketing team lives to deliver magical, not to mention incredibly impactful, marketing experiences for our players. The Business Planning & Operations team sits at the intersection of our Live games, New games & Growth Marketing teams, turning ideas into action through roadmap building and alignment, project management and many other continuous improvement initiatives, to help our teams deliver huge value effectively and efficiently.

    We’re looking for an adaptable and highly collaborative person to join us in our mission to make Marketing at King an industry leader in planning, operations and project delivery.

    Your role within the Kingdom

    This is an opportunity to join a highly valued and dynamic team that supports a range of functions across the business in a creative, challenging and collaborative environment. It is a highly visible role in the organisation, where your ideas will be as valued as your marketing and project management expertise. There is an exceptional level of exposure to all marketing specialisms: CRM, Digital Media, PR, Social, Partnerships, Creative & Brand Marketing, Insights to name a few, allowing you to get hands- on experience across the marketing spectrum and influence how these teams work optimally together to deliver incredible results.

    Creating magical player experiences means always being at the cutting edge of our Marketing, so your role will always be evolving as new things come up!

    Your responsibilities will depend on specific business needs at the time but will include:

    Project Management

    • Own the successful delivery of highly creative and complex cross- functional marketing projects, from project kick off to launch
    • Lead the conversation around milestones, deliverables, workback schedules and dependencies against project timelines
    • Track risks to project success and build mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery
    • Own the communication plan to ensure a high level of transparency and accountability across all stakeholders
    • Lead project roundtables, bringing stakeholders together to drive visibility and alignment
    • Responsible for maintaining up- to- date project documentation

    ProcessWays of working

    • Own and implement processes that help our team deliver more efficiently and with as little friction as possible
    • Champion process within the team, especially on the projects you manage
    • Support the team in designing and implementing optimal ways of working for Marketing to work in the new, hybrid working world

    Continuous Improvement

    Ensure the team is always evolving by:

    • Using data and team interview insights to inform key areas of improvement within the team, following through to implementation and measurement of success
    • Owning project retrospectives and feedback loops and building improvement recommendations based on these

    At the heart of this role is a highly adaptable and collaborative person who has the ability to implement process and structure in a fast- moving, people- driven organisation.

    Bonus skills include

    • Successfully managed cross- functional projects in an environment with complex stakeholder involvement, timelines and deliverables
    • Solid understanding of a broad range of marketing channels and what’s involved in campaign production (you’ll work with CRM, Social, PR, Media, TV, Performance Marketing to name a few)
    • Demonstrable experience of improving process, ways of working and/or project governance - your past role doesn’t have to be centred on that, but you should be able to show that you are strong in continuous improvement (ideation to implementation)
    • Ability to deliver independently - if you see something that needs done, roll your sleeves up and dive in!
    • Ability to work in a fast- moving, ever changing, and often ambiguous, environment
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across a large number of teams, internal and external, and all levels of the organisation
    • Understanding of agile principles
    • Friendly, curious, empathic and a team player
