    The Technology Strategy & Operations MBA Intern is responsible for working closely with the Head of Technology Strategy & Operations, on projects for the King Technology organisation, as well as the King Leadership Team, which will involve collaboration and consultation across many departments and stakeholders in King and our parent company Activision Blizzard. Our projects are technology focussed and include both longer term strategic initiatives as well as shorter term tactical work.

    Your role within our Kingdom

    This role will involve engagement with stakeholders, project execution, progress measurement, status reporting and relationship management. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Tech leadership in framing and driving King technology strategy and with other leadership in the wider King organisation on developing, framing and executing wider strategic initiatives at King.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and perform detailed research and analysis on opportunities which support King's technology initiatives and develop business cases, including industry and marketing analysis and operational financial models
    • Create presentations outlining proposed projects, their goals and business cases, the stakeholders involved and proposed work plans and schedules
    • Manage project update and coordination meetings, defining schedules and agendas and tracking outcomes, communicating regularly with all stakeholders and updating leadership on progress and budgets and identifying issues for escalation, where appropriate
    • Facilitate project retrospectives; identify areas for improvement and learnings

    Skills to Create Thrills

    • Currently enrolled in an MBA Programme at a leading institution
    • Experience in a mixture of technology, technology strategy, consulting or corporate development roles in mobile, consumer, internet or media
    • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand, present and explain recommendations and analyses in a clear and concise way
    • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; you must be able to define and execute models and analyses independently, with minimal supervision
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Results driven and able to execute complex strategic projects
    • Highly personable with an ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across King
