We are looking for recent graduate with some experience and a strong desire to pursue a career in UI development, to work in our Manchester office.
As a frontend developer you will be working on the full lifecycle of frontend development, this includes working with UX team members and contributing to design yourself, development, testing, and support.
You will be part of the R&D team, developing a new UI platform and standardised UI building blocks to be used by all projects – both solutions delivered to the customer and internal tools, across the whole of Dematic.
Tasks and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Javascript/Typescript
- Knowledge of any major UI framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
- Use of HTML5
- Use of CSS/Sass/Less
- Has an eye for what looks good
- Self-starter with the desire to learn and improve.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- A team player with a desire to learn more
- You like a challenge and are willing to take responsibility
Desirable Skills
- Use of web bundlers (Webpack, Parcel etc.)
- Experience using Git
- Experience using Unix based environments
- Prototyping and Wireframing
- Experience using Javascript testing frameworks (Jest, QUnit etc.)
