Help us grow, we are recruiting! Due to high increase in volume of EMC projects we are looking to bring on board an EMC Engineer. This exciting role will further support development and the operation of our UKAS accredited EMC and Radio laboratory. The exciting role would suit a recent graduate or experienced professional who would like to expand their EMC product knowledge to progress their career within the test, inspection and certification industry. About the role
- Perform EMC testing to appropriate test standards / EMC directive on a wide range of products, requiring certification.
- Interact with customers on technical issues and questions
- Maintain ownership of projects and reports test results to clients in a timely manner.
- Liaise and communicate with clients throughout the project.
- Assist and support the Line managers to ensure the laboratory maintains compliance to ISO 17025 and the QMS.
- General laboratory related maintenance / upkeep.
- Perform any other duties as required by the business.
Do you have what it takes?
- Some experience on electrical testing (training will be provided for the right candidate) and have a willingness to learn.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and an attention to detail are essential.
- Experience working within an accredited laboratory would be desirable but not essential.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work and reach targets set independently (self starting).
- The ability to work cohesively with all stakeholders for a mutual outcome.
- Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service.
- Willingness to travel occasionally if and when needed.
What can you expect from us in return?
- £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
