    Kiwa Agri Food is looking for a Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator to join their Business Development team. The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Business Development on sales activities and coordinating the marketing needs of the Kiwa Agri Food Business Unit.     About the role

    Sales (Anticipated to be 85% of the role)

    • Working with the Head of Business Development, to understand the customer journey across all service lines, ensuring that this is simplified, and all sales opportunities are followed upon in a proactive manner. Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.
    • Helping clients understand the services available to them and convert sales in line with targets.
    • Working closely with our Heads of Certification Delivery, Pest Consultancy & Training to help grow their income levels.
    • Developing sound customer relationships and applying effective sales techniques.
    • To answer telephone queries and deal with electronic queries, satisfying customer needs in respect of any orders or queries they may have.
    • To record all sales engagement on the CRM system
    • Send quotes to new and existing customers following agreed processes, follow up quotes and close actives sales opportunities.
    • To support on the creation of proposal submissions.
    • To receive sales queries from individual departmental email inboxes, and to follow up in a pro-active approach.
    • To gather market insight (both through market research and speaking with clients) on the market drivers and needs, and to share this insight with the Head of Business Development and SMT.

    Marketing (Anticipated to be 15% of the role)

    • To co-ordinate and distribute sales campaigns related to specific service lines within Agri-Food, using MailChimp.
    • To co-ordinate social media requests from across the business and share with our
    • Marketing partner for posting on corporate platforms.
    • To create/order business cards; print and digital advertising.
    • To co-ordinate Agri Food content for printed and online material.
    • To attend trade shows relevant to the services delivered by Kiwa Agri Food.
    • Track and monitor the success of marketing activities.
    • To represent Kiwa Agri Food with partner marketing and communication meetings.

    Do you have what it takes?

    • Be an efficient computer user, with solid experience with MS Office
    • Have good analytical and administrative skills.
    • Have a professional telephone manner and be confident in making calls and speaking to customers and prospective customers.
    • Experience working in sales, customer service and/or marketing functions.
    • Be able to multi-task, prioritise tasks and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
    • Have the ability to use initiative for problem solving.
    • Have good interpersonal skills and can work as part of team.
    • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated.
    • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude.
    • Ability to understand customer needs and create viable, profitable solutions to meet those needs.
    • Knowledge of the agriculture, food and drink sector (desirable).
    • Self-motivated, always looking for new customer opportunities and improvements. Strong desire to win.

    What can you expect from us in return?

    • £22,620 - £26,000 per annum
    • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
    • 36.25 hours a week, Mon-Fri
    • 3pm finish on a Friday
