The role

Labcorp is a leading global life sciences company with a mission to improve health and improve lives. We are looking for an Environmental Science Technician to join our experienced and growing Aquatic Ecotoxicology & Terrestrial team at our site in Shardlow, Derbyshire.

In this role you will be supporting the department in completing environmental studies on behalf of our clients. The role is varied, hands-on and provides the opportunity to make a real difference working for a world-leader in Environmental research.

Duties Include:

  • Conducting and performing studies relating to study plan protocols
  • Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines working to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
  • Collating data and accurate data recording
  • Maintaining / upkeep of laboratory and work area
  • Husbandry tasks

Skills and experience

  • Training provided
  • Proficiency with Microsoft packages and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Home Office licence PIL A/B advantageous
  • GLP knowledge and/or experience advantageous
