    Labman are seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active, Accounts Payable and Receivable Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic workforce at our globally recognised and multi-award-winning company. Headquartered in North Yorkshire, specialising in design and manufacture of bespoke laboratory automation systems and products for a diverse range of industries worldwide.

    Duties to include but not limited to

    • Accurately process a high volume of invoices
    • ensuring timely payments to vendors
    • Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
    • Supplier and customer record maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.·
    • Coding and entering employee credit card expenses accurately
    • Creation and issue of sales invoices and credit notes
    • Allocating payments and investigating any differences
    • Proactively following up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, and letters
    • Reporting into and supporting the Finance Manager with any ad-hoc tasks
    • Support system development and process improvements

    You will bring

    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
    • Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

    Qualifications

    • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar would be an advantage but not essential
    • AAT would be advantageous
