    We are looking for a social genius to work across our GAMINGbible Instagram and TikTok channels. As a Junior Channel Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting a truly unique social strategy and working closely with the team to create signature GAMINGbible content. A Junior Channel Manager is responsible for supporting and managing the output of the Instagram and TikTok channel.

    The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of social platforms as well as a knack for quick thinking, problem solving and innovation. We’re looking for avid gamers who absorb themselves in the gaming community, and are able to entertain the GAMINGbible audience with interesting news and brilliant video content.

    Working within a small team, you’ll spend your days creating original features, spotting viral trends and delivering our daily content to a global audience. Come prepared with regular news and feature ideas, an insatiable appetite for everything gaming related and a seriously proactive work ethic.

    What the opportunity looks like

    • Working closely with the Lead Channel Manager and fellow Social Editors to create and curate content for LADbible Group’s Instagram feeds, Instagram Stories and TikTok channels
    • Implementing LADbible Group’s tone and position within the platforms; developing and executing original formats and content ideas
    • Using analytics not just for reporting but also to inform content choices and formats
    • Working with our in-house branded content agency to assist with commercial campaigns
    • Overseeing content schedule on Instagram and TikTok
    • Targeting wider audiences on both platforms

    Skills and experience 

    • Able to produce creative content for TikTok and Instagram suitable for a gaming audience
    • A working knowledge of all social media platforms
    • Digital journalist who can think visually, with a background in news and viral content
    • An understanding on how to do audience analysis, able to tailor content to a range of demographics
    • Impeccable communication skills - both written and verbal
    • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects) knowledge and video editing experience not essential but a bonus
    • A basic understanding of media law
    • Experience within publishing and/or branded content preferable
    • Knowledge of the latest gaming releases and pop culture trends
    • Storyteller who can present to camera or voice over a bonus but not essential
    • Social media native who knows how to use eye-catching gameplay
    • Played enough video games to know the difference between a 1-Up mushroom and Cordyceps spores
    • Good eye for spotting stories across the gaming world that translate well to social posts on Instagram and TikTok
