    Join our AQA Early Careers Scheme as an AI/Data Scientist Graduate and you could be using data from 11 million exams sat annually across thousands of learning centres, to apply your data science knowledge to a variety of areas and data sets. You will be part of the team developing data driven AI solutions to make a real difference in the world of education.

    We’ll support the development of your skills and experience with appropriate software and techniques. During your time on the programme, you’ll work towards a level 7 Artificial Intelligence qualification, learning from our team of data experts.

    What’s involved? 

    Working in our Analytics & Data Science team, you’ll support in the delivery of analytical, data science and business intelligence services to optimise our data use. Spend your time gaining experience in areas such as Business Intelligence, Data Science, Analytics Engineering, and Statistics. You’ll also have a focus on building effective working relationships, contributing to a motivated team culture and the ongoing development of the team’s data management and quality control practices.

    You could also be responsible for:

    • Researching, designing and delivering projects to implement AI solutions and improve efficiencies
    • Contributing to the development and delivery of data analysis and insights
    • Processing large data sets to create and develop analytics solutions
    • Presenting insights to stakeholders in an engaging and user friendly format
    • Producing accurate data returns for industry regulators

    Who you are  

    To be eligible for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related, with an intermediate understanding of Python. Due to the nature of our business and the market we operate in - predominantly A levels and GCSEs – you need to be over the age of 18 years from 1st September 2024 to avoid any potential conflict of interest.

    We’re looking for analytical individuals with the ability to process and present large, complex and varied data sets to find solutions. You should have a drive to develop and apply new skills to your everyday tasks, such as optimising data collection and building advanced machine learning models.

    Other qualities we’d like to see include:

    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Highly curious with an interest in identifying patterns and trends
