Looking for a summer internship in Credit rating that sharpens both your commercial acumen and technical skills?

Join our 2025 Credit Rating Summer Internship! We’re seeking undergraduates eager to contribute to our success. If selected, you’ll be part of one of L&G’s esteemed Investment teams!

What you'll be doing

During your 8-week placement in July and August, you’ll:

  • Kick off with an induction to introduce you to L&G and prepare for an exciting internship
  • Work with our colleagues and gain first-hand experience at working in an Investment Management business
  • Learn from senior speakers
  • Learn about the industry, our clients, and our firm
  • Network with fellow interns and build lasting connections
  • have the opportunity to develop new skills
  • have the chance to add real value to the team you are working with  

Your day-to-day will include

  • Learning diverse aspects of financial and business analysis, including an introduction to financial modelling and fundamental credit analysis across a range of sectors. This will help you build and develop your opinion of companies operating in the global capital markets.
  • Gaining have access to the key decision makers across the Credit and Investment Committees, deal makers, research, portfolio management and transaction teams

Qualifications

Who we're looking for

  • We’re seeking penultimate-year undergraduates with an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. No prior industry experience is required, but we’ll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly:
  • On track for a 2.1 Degree in any subject.
  • In your penultimate of university (i.e. graduating in 2026)
  • Curiosity & motivation: eager to learn about Investment Management.
  • Analytical mindset
  • Great communication skills
  • Team Player: Flexible and collaborative.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
