Job description

Looking for a summer internship in Client Relationship Management (Distribution) that sharpens both your commercial acumen and technical skills?

Join our 2025 Summer Internship! We’re seeking undergraduates eager to contribute to our success. If selected, you’ll be part of one of L&G’s esteemed Investment teams!

What you'll be doing

During your 8-week placement in July and August, you’ll:

  • Kick off with an induction to introduce you to L&G and prepare for an exciting internship
  • Engage with different teams and gain insights from various departments
  • Learn from senior speakers
  • Network with fellow interns and build lasting connections

Some of the day-to-day activities you may experience might include:

  • Gaining an understanding of the various Distribution client bases
  • Learning about our sales strategies and product offerings
  • Experiencing how we build and manage client/stakeholder relationships
  • Assisting in query management and the preparation of presentation/pitch material
  • Collaborating with other internal departments / teams
  • Working with your team and manager who will support you and teach you the day-to-day role  
  • Be part of a big team and develop your collaboration skills 
  • Have the opportunity to meet and network with new colleagues within your team, but also across the wider organisation  

Qualifications

Who we're looking for

  • We’re seeking penultimate-year undergraduates with an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. No prior industry experience is required, but we’ll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly:
  • On track for a 2.1 Degree in any subject.
  • In your penultimate of university (i.e. graduating in 2026)
  • Analytical mindset
  • Great communication skills
  • Team Player: Flexible and collaborative.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
