This role is based in Slough UK and will follow our best of both hybrid working model (three days in the office), with one weekend day on a rotating basis.

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Core responsibilities

  • Engaging with LEGO fans by replying to them English and Danish or Dutch across our various platforms and channels e.g., social media, product reviews.
  • Being active in developing our approach to engaging with users and creators across multiple platforms.
  • Tailoring your engagement to the channels and audiences you are interacting with.
  • Working closely with your team as well as various internal and external collaborators within Consumer & Shopper Engagement (CSE).
  • Gathering and evaluating data.
  • Providing direct feedback to users.
  • Directing user communication and support.
  • Being a safety net by evaluating, and moderating reported content where necessary.

The CSE department is team of around 1000 employees with offices in the UK, Germany, USA, Denmark, Singapore, and Shanghai, supporting 5 million customer engagements per year across multiple channels (phone, email, chat, social media, web, owned apps and platforms). Our customers are based around the globe!

Our teams already provide world-class consumer support to consumers on channels such as chat, calls, and emails. We have moved through a journey from a traditional contact centre to our now engagement centre, where social media engagement, engagement with kids on our owned platforms, proactive shopper assistance and two-way engagement at different touchpoints are playing an ever increasingly important role.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong Danish or Dutch written skills are essential (in addition to strong English written skills.)
  • Exposure with social media or other online community support is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills. We are FRKE! Fun, Reliable, Knowledgeable and Engaging.
  • Digitally native with confidence communicating online.
  • Confident working with consumers where change and uncertainty can occur.
  • Conscious of needing to tailor tone of voice dependent on audience.
  • Ability to assess risks of public engagement opportunities.
