Help us build the future of retail at the LEGO Group! We’re seeking a Data focussed Software Engineer to join our Marketing Effectiveness Product Team, with a focus on building data solutions that support marketing analytics and measurement.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and models that enable Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), campaign reporting, and marketing insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, data, and marketing intelligence.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines for marketing and media data sources
- Design and develop data marts to support reporting, modeling and analytics use cases
- Collaborate with data scientists and marketers to define and implement data requirements
- Ensure data quality, documentation and consistency across datasets and sources
- Contribute to the development of best practices for data architecture, modeling and governance

We are organised in autonomous agile product teams with end-to-end responsibility for our solutions, and we collaborate closely with other teams that drive retail and e-commerce partner strategy and execution for the LEGO Group.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or a related field
- Experience working with data modeling and transformation workflows
- Experience developing on AWS and Databricks and experience with leveraging infrastructure as code to deploy data infrastructure
- Experience working with Git, practicing code reviews and branching strategies, CI/CD and testing in software solutions
- Strong skills in SQL and Python
- Ability to translate marketing needs into well-structured data products
- Experience working closely with data scientists is a nice-to-have
- Exposure to MMM, attribution modeling or marketing measurement practices is a nice-to-have
- Basic experience with frontend technologies is a plus and may be needed to help build or support simple frontend components.
