    Role overview

    We are looking for an Information Assurance Analyst who will work side by side with the Leidos Corporate Information Security team and the Cybersecurity program team across the LCS(T) programme.

    You will support and guide the implementation of security initiatives to improve overall security within the LCS(T) programme. You will also support the LCS(T) Physical and the LCST/S2C Security Working Groups which require close co-operation with our customer (MOD) and our key partners (e.g. K&N, TVS)

    Key responsibilities

    • Evaluate and recommend improvements to business practices, processes and controls.
    • Support and guide the implementation of security initiatives to improve overall security within the LCS(T) programme.
    • Review IS business continuity processes to identify and address potential risks.
    • Acting as the IS Business Resilience Champion will require the production of a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
    • In tandem with the IA Specialist, manages technical risk assessment and risk treatment for IT and information assets within the organisation
    • Support the Implementation of HMG and MOD IA policy to information systems solution and Team Leidos information security strategy (policies & procedures)
    • Support the accreditation of Team Leidos information systems (by Defence Security Assurance Services [DSAS])
    • Support the production of Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets (RMADS) for information systems and hosted applications
    • Advises on HMG IA requirements in technical design
    • Support IT Health Check requirements

    What does Leidos need from me?

    • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.

    You will be good at

    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work as a member of a team.
    • Numerate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
