    About the role

    LendInvest is looking for a candidate to join the Fund Services team at Junior Associate level. The successful candidate will be part of an energetic team that is the central support and control function within the Funds Team which is part of the LendInvest Capital division.

    This role offers an opportunity to learn on the job and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for a Fund operations and Investor relations role.

    You will provide support to the senior members of the Funds team on both operational and Investor relations functions, as well as fund sales and fund transaction support to ensure that the Fund and Self Select platform run in an efficient and compliant manner. This will involve working closely with internal and external teams within the UK and with service providers in Luxembourg.

    About you

    • The role would suit someone in their first or second job in the financial services sector
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to tight deadlines individually and as part of a team
    • A high level of integrity acting with due care, skill and diligence
    • Ability to deal with external Investors/Stakeholders in a professional and confident manner
    • Ability to deal with internal stakeholders in an open, engaging and cooperative way
    • Self-starter who uses initiative to find and solve problems
    • Good attention to detail

    Nice to have

    • 1 year’s experience in a similar role within the mortgage or alternative investment sectors would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided
    • An understanding of Investments, Funds, Real Estate, Loans would be an advantage
    • Investor Relations experience, verbal and written communications
    • Proficiency in Excel

    Day to day

    Generally supporting the Fund and Self Select Platform teams:

    • Reconciliation and reporting of bank balances
    • Investor communications, phone, email, messaging
    • Assisting the fundraising and investor relations team where required.
    • Helping to schedule Board meetings, Travel etc
    • Integration with other business units including loan servicing, finance and technology.
    • AML/KYC checks
    • Fund Transaction management and processing
    • Wire payment checks and processing
    • Data reporting
    • FX transaction reconciliation and reporting
    • NAV and Financial statement assistance
    • Preparation of Investor reporting
    • Managing Collateral
    • Share Register maintenance
    • Managing the relationships with introducers
    • Supporting with client onboarding
