Programme description
The Leonardo Helicopters Graduate Development Program is designed to support your first steps after leaving university and to help you develop your career. Through a comprehensive 2 year program, you will have the chance to gain a complete understanding of the organisation and be involved in real challenges from day one. You will have the opportunity to learn from colleagues who are experts in their field, while always being encouraged to use your initiative.

What you will do
The Graduate Scheme will start with an Induction into Leonardo, followed by a team building event at an offsite location (incorporating all Trainee starts). There will also be a departmental induction to ensure that expectations are fully established.
Working with world-leading specialists, you will increase your technical skills and capability, and develop your academic and practical understanding of the diverse world that is HR.
A role in HR will provide exposure to all elements of the employee life cycle, from talent attraction to onboarding of employees, retention, learning and development, right through to offboarding.
Responsibilities will include
- Supporting the HR Business Partner team to answer general enquiries
- Supporting with the induction monitoring of new employees
- Supporting exit interviews to gather intelligence on resignations
- Turning HR data into insight to inform decision making
- Supporting the Employee Relations Team with Case Management
- Supporting Trade Union meetings
- Supporting the design and implementation of new development programmes such as leadership and mentoring

Qualifications required
- Minimum 2:1 Bachelors or Masters in HR Management or Business-related subject with HR modules
Desired skills
- Excellent communications skills at all levels, both written and verbal
- Able to multi-task and manage priorities
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience of using Workday desirable but not essential
- Experience of using SAP desirable but not essential
