EG is fully dedicated to inspiring positive change through our ESG, Technology, Wellbeing, Diversity, and Inclusion programmes. looking for an Events Marketing Manager to help create and drive the marketing strategy for our existing digital and in-person events portfolio.
The role
- You will own the marketing timeline, and develop the marketing strategy for the portfolio of EG events
- You will develop marketing campaigns that drive interest and attendance to EG virtual events, in-person gatherings and tradeshows.
- You will manage the event website, write copy, and create email campaigns, digital assets, and case studies that promote the attendance and participation in EG events.
- You will continuously measure and manage your campaigns to ensure their effectiveness and adjust your activities to meet targets.
- You will work closely with the UK sponsorship sales team, partners, and other key stakeholders to forge strong relationships to drive success.
- You will Identify appropriate new strategic marketing partnerships to drive attendance.
What you need to bring to EG
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to consistently create high quality, engaging content
- Some previous events marketing experience
- A solid understanding of marketing strategy and how this is applied to events and exhibitions
- Experience in creating content and utilising a variety of marketing channels
- Communication – outstanding written and verbal ability to communicate
- Proven team player - ability to work with a team and achieve daily and monthly goals
- Self-starter- able to identify work that needs to be done and does it without required instruction
- Outstanding social media and digital landscape understanding and practical knowledge
