As a Foundation Year Trainee Pharmacist, we’ll support you throughout your career progression, giving you the opportunity to study and learn whilst providing valued care to your local community. You’ll be joining one of our friendly and hardworking pharmacy teams to serve your patients and provide valued services. In return you’ll gain experiences in:
- Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations. Ensuring that every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs
- Building close relationships with your local community, patients and members, providing them with expert clinical advice and reassurance.
- Leading your pharmacy team to ensure an efficient and friendly service, excelling in delivering a range of enhanced services.
- Checking prescriptions for accuracy and safety, assisting with dispensing medications and advising patients on routes of administration and dosages.
- Assisting with branch management; maintaining records, tracking inventory, controlling stock levels and securing controlled drugs to maintain compliance.
About You
We are looking for a professional and driven trainee pharmacist who has a genuine passion about health care and who is keen to develop in their role and career. Additionally, you’ll need to be:
- Essential: Looking to qualify for a master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm)
- Professional, friendly and approachable, able to build and maintain dependable working relationships with your colleagues and patients
- Enthusiastic and motivated towards your own learning and development, eager to support your colleagues with their own career growth
- Experienced in working in a pharmacy setting
We have a number of opportunities, across the Lincolnshire area, for Foundation Year Pharmacists to join us, starting July/August 2024/2025. You must be looking towards qualifying as a graduate pharmacy student by July 2024 and due to qualify as a Pharmacist in July 2025 in order to be eligible for these positions.
