This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the delivery of world-class historical content. Reporting to the Senior Video Editor and SVOD Editors, you will assist in the post-production process, ensuring smooth workflows and timely delivery of projects for our SVOD platform.

How you'll spend your time

  • Ingest, organise, and manage raw footage and project files across multiple productions.
  • Prepare projects for editors, including syncing audio, creating proxies, and assembling timelines.
  • Conduct basic edits and assemble rough cuts as needed.
  • Liaise with production teams to gather assets, manage file transfers, and track deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to technical specifications, including frame rates, codecs, and resolution standards.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Video Editor, SVOD Editors, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Maintain and manage media storage systems, ensuring proper file organisation and backups.
  • Prepare final deliverables, including exports, subtitle files, and trailers, for upload to the SVOD platform.
  • Collaborate with our artwork designers, subtitle creators, and other external contributors to ensure smooth project workflows.

What you need to succeed

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

  • Passion for history and storytelling is a big bonus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including file management and editing pipelines.
  • Familiarity with online video platforms and file delivery systems (e.g., Vimeo, Frame.io, Aspera).
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic knowledge of colour grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
