In Business and Commercial Banking, we work to understand our clients and the challenges they face at the frontline of the UK economy. We're quick to collaborate and find solutions when world events shake up markets. We're also versatile and quick to adopt new technologies that will improve the way we work. If that sounds exciting, this scheme is designed for you.
What you’ll learn on the Business and Commercial Banking Graduate Scheme
Over the course of two years and four rotational placements, you’ll develop the multi-faceted knowledge you need to succeed in our Business and Commercial Banking division, as well as the chance to explore a variety of specialisms. From day one, your team will value your perspective, give you real responsibility, and rely on you to help businesses grow.
You’ll work directly with Business & Commercial clients, understanding their needs while developing strong relationship-building skills. You’ll discover the breadth of products we offer including lending, foreign exchange, payments and transaction banking, and merchant services.
You’ll learn how we develop our products to improve the customer experience, working alongside engineers and experts to enhance product journeys. And you’ll understand how we manage risk across the business – including credit underwriting and conduct controls – to ensure we provide the best support for customers and shape finance as a force for good.
On top of that, you’ll learn how we’re building digital innovation and sustainability into everything we do, helping clients accelerate their transition to net zero through the solutions we create.
