What you'll learn as a finance intern
Over 10 weeks, you’ll see how our work in Finance underpins strategic and financial decisions made within the Group, and the impact your work can have on the future of British business.
You’ll learn about Finance’s core purpose, who our customers are, and the ways we’re committed to helping colleagues and communities to thrive and succeed. You could work on projects that teach you about partnering with other business areas, about our products and services, or how to analyse complex sets of data to gain insights – and much more. You’ll also have opportunities to grow a diverse network of colleagues and contacts, and see where you can add value to our teams.
On a summer internship, you could be...
- Developing technical and analytical skills so you can contribute to projects that inform real business decisions
- Building relationships and networking with people across the business, including other interns, graduates, line managers and more
- Shadowing people from areas outside of Finance to learn how we work together to achieve great results
- Sharing and presenting your ideas of how our processes could be improved to senior managers

Our Finance Internships are based in one of our UK offices including London, Bristol, Leeds and Edinburgh.
