Help us empower our people to Help Britain Prosper.

Ever wondered what makes our business so successful? Why we’re so highly regarded by customers and our industry? It’s our people. Our talented, dedicated and diverse people are at the heart of everything we do. When they’re performing at their best great things happen. And right now, we’re putting some exciting new ideas into action to give our people every support to shine, grow and Help Britain Prosper.

We want everyone here to maximise their potential and build the career they want for themselves. So we’re working hard to make Lloyds Banking Group one of the very best places to work, from how and where we work to all the ways we recognise and reward our people. We’re shaping our culture and futureproofing how we go about things, so it’s enjoyable and meaningful for us all.

If you’re an occupational psychologist Masters graduate, a creative thinker, ready to play an important part in helping those you around love their working day, this is the scheme for you.

    What you'll learn

To help our people perform at their best, we need to understand the way they behave.

That’s where our Occupational Psychologists come in. Through this programme, you’ll apply psychological theories, knowledge and practice to enhance our people proposition, supercharge the way we work and interact with each other, and create an environment where everybody thrives.

An initial two-week onboarding People and Places boot camp, meeting fellow graduates, will get you off to a strong start. Across the scheme you’ll rotate through different HR teams to develop a strong set of specialist and generalist expertise.

You’ll be matched up with a buddy or mentor to support you and offer guidance throughout the scheme, and you’ll have access to technical and business-aligned training, including platforms such as Viva Learning and Learning Management systems, to further help your development.

With opportunities for extracurricular activities to expand your skills and experience across the bank, and with introductions to colleague networks, you’ll make great connections to further your career.

The work you could be doing

    • Leading the development of a people product, from early design to implementation.
