    The visual merchandising assistant supports the visual merchandising manager in planning, logistics, and execution of new shack openings, shack & office shuffles, and other operational projects. This role is pivotal in maintaining an attractive and brand-aligned shack environment, ensuring seamless coordination of display product maintenance, repairs, and replacements across all locations. The role requires strong administrative and organisational skills to track and support all visual merchandising activities effectively.

    The job

    VM Standards, Campaigns & Styling Execution

    • Support the Visual Merchandising Manager in upholding Shack visual merchandising standards across all sites.
    • Work closely with Shack Managers and their teams to guide and support the execution of VM styling guides, layouts, and product displays.
    • Assist in the coordination and execution of seasonal and brand campaigns in Shacks, such as window displays and in-store presentations for key retail moments (e.g. Christmas, Easter).
    • Ensure consistency in room set presentation and styling that reflects the Loaf brand.
    • Assist in communicating and implementing new VM initiatives and updates across all stores.

    Project logistics support

    • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager and Head of Stores to plan and review new Shack openings and Shuffle projects.
    • Help develop and manage critical paths/Gantt charts to support smooth execution of VM rollouts.
    • Coordinate the delivery and installation of new and replacement products, ensuring minimal disruption to Shack operations.
    • Facilitate product rotation in line with product launches and discontinued lines.

    Inventory order management

    • Raise Shack sales orders and returns in Microsoft Dynamics (Nav) and support communication of key updates to relevant teams.
    • Liaise with internal purchasing teams to monitor and support the timely delivery of products.
    • Track product costs for insurance purposes and support updates following Shuffles or openings.

    Supplier external coordination

    • Support coordination of external services such as paintwork, signage, and couriers where necessary.
    • Help resolve post-delivery product issues through collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
    • Liaise with the Head of Logistics regarding relevant stock deliveries.

    Visual asset management

    • Maintain and update all display products and visual assets across sites.
    • Keep a log of quality control (QC) issues arising in Shack and liaise with QC and VM Manager for timely resolution.
    • Order and manage fabric swatches and hanging lengths for launches and replacements.
    • Keep master room set decks current following product updates or Shuffles.

    Shack visits execution

    • Visit Shacks regularly to support the maintenance and consistency of VM standards.
    • Collaborate with Shack Managers on decorative or styling changes in line with the Loaf brand.

    • Planning Software: Experience with CAD or other layout and planning software is desirable.
