Position Description
Customer relationship management (CRM) is a process in which a business or other organization administers its interactions with customers, typically using data analysis to study large amounts of information.
As CRM Intern, you support the Senior CRM coordinator and CRM Manager in the ongoing success of the business. You will support in executing the CRM program including end-to-end production of direct mail and triggered mailings, whilst working closely with the e-Commerce and digital marketing team including Newsletters.
A sharp eye for detail, a creative marketing approach and copywriting skills as well as understanding of project and process management will be needed.
You will assist in analysing the CRM campaigns, to provide insightful reports into the successes and weaknesses of the individual campaigns, as well as making recommendations for future endeavours. The data you collect and the reports you provide will be shared across the wider business improving the return on investment and the overall customer journey and experience.
It is a role very much suited to someone is ambitious and willing to learn; ready to take ownership of executing multi-channel campaigns and take full advantage of the opportunity to develop your knowledge of CRM and gain a unique insight into a multi-channel business.
Major Responsibilities
- Support Senior CRM Coordinator and CRM Assistant with direct mail creative process specification briefs for the design team, including writing copy for all CRM-related marketing collateral as needed Liaising with suppliers for quotes and deliveries to ensure print jobs run smoothly and on-time
- Accurate reporting of weekly CRM KPIs, including performance of mailers, and emails
- Assist with organising photo shoots and preparing fulfilment guidelines for the warehouse, as well as bringing fresh creative ideas to the table with tight turn around deadlines. Developing and managing our critical path time lines will be needed
- Set-up and testing of CRM promotion codes for retail stores and online.
- Assist CRM assistant in building dedicated landing pages
- Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to innovative communication formats and customer loyalty/retention strategies.
Required Knowledge & Competencies
- Strong organisational skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Marketing flair and good copywriting skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of printing production processes would be helpful.
- Pro-active and analytical individual looking for a next step in her/his marketing career. Must be used to working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- A degree in Marketing would be an advantage.
