Due to rapid growth Lockton People Solutions are looking for an Associate Pension Consultant to join our growing Workplace Pension team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their pension career to the next level, whether that be moving from a similar role or an administrator/paraplanner/support consultant who would like to develop their career in a consultancy role.
The role will be based in our London office where you will be part of a wider employee benefits team.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Governance packs for client meetings – requesting data/ MI, reviewing documentation and preparing Governance material for client meetings.
- Attendance at pension governance and client review meetings – drafting minutes and following up on actions.
- Supporting the sales team and pension consultants with on boarding new clients.
- Supporting the production and deployment of pension communications.
- Supporting the pension process when working with flex/online providers to ensure a seamless journey for clients.
- Updating client plans and ensuring all client review documentation is up to date an accurate.
- Working with consultants on pension projects to support provider reviews, salary exchange, auto enrolment audit and client work.
- Managing employee queries
- Maintaining relevant databases to ensure client records are kept up to date and clients invoiced on time.
- Working with the wider people solution team to deliver excellent customer service to the client.
- Managing your own portfolio of SME clients to develop your consultancy skills and developing your client management skills.

Experience, qualifications & key skills
What is essential
- Experience and understanding of the UK pensions, in particular the DC pension market.
- Knowledge of auto enrolment legislation and practices.
- Good excel, word and PowerPoint skills.
- Outgoing, with the ability to confidently build relationships.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skill with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
