Your responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Junior Designer to join Lockton’s Design and Marketing group. You will be part of our in-house New Business design team; creating bespoke RFPs, proposal/tender and presentation bid documents. We are currently in a period of growth, and looking for someone who has a positive mindset, with a good eye for details and ensuring projects are deliver on time.

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing creative projects from conception to production. Ensuring the Lockton brand are well represented through delivering high quality pieces on tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Design original report/documents/presentations, including illustrations and infographics
  • Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software Apply typography techniques
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our creative projects
  • Liaise with the design teams to ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role
  • Portfolio of completed design projects
  • High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). As well as basic/advance knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate within the team
  • Experience in preparing final artwork files across print and digital
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills

Able to work independently as well as in a team, with a positive attitude.
