This role will be with Longevity Power, a subsidiary launched in 2021 to focus on renewable energy-related projects.

Building on Longevity Partners’ success in delivering sustainable solutions and net-zero carbon strategies for the built environment, Longevity Power will focus on delivering renewable energy strategies and clean energy solutions in the built environment across Europe. Providing a one-stop-shop on clean energy advisory, Longevity Power was created to deliver onsite and offsite renewable energy strategy and implementation and EV charging infrastructure deployment.
As a fast-growing sustainability advisory business based in the UK, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and commercially minded individual to support the growth of our business across Europe.
Your role as Sustainability Analyst will be to assist the advisory team and work on commercial & industrial-scale renewable energy projects at a European level, to help our clients understand their potential for renewable energy across their assets and plan for its implementation.
About the Role
- Coordinate and understand a large quantity of electricity consumption data.
- Assist with on-site PV feasibility studies to help clients understand the potential for solar PV installations across their portfolios.
- Model the financial and carbon impact of renewable energy projects, providing clients with the key financial metrics to inform their investment decision. This will take into account project CAPEX, OPEX, operations & maintenance costs, high-level, project IRRs, NPVs.
- Market research into the legislative landscape and incentives available for on-site solar PV installations across Europe.
- Data collection of on-site electricity consumption to use in the solar PV system modelling and design.
- Attend site visits to review site-specific constraints and layout for solar PV installations (dependent on covid-19 situation).
- Produce reports and provide advice and guidance to clients and project teams under the supervision of your PM.
- Present complex findings to clients in a clear and engaging manner
About You

- This role is suitable for newly graduated students with a university degree, ideally in Environmental Sciences or Engineering, Economics, or other sustainability-related disciplines;
- Relevant knowledge of renewable energy challenges, pros/cons of on-site solar PV installations, and the regulatory environment for renewable energy at the European level (preferable but not mandatory);
- Ability to conduct research tasks, analyse and summarise data;
- Ability to produce structured, concise, and meaningful reports;
- Ability to manage multiple on-going assignments simultaneously;
- Ability to work as part of a team autonomously;
- Excellent analytical skills and mindset;
- Excellent IT skills, including a good knowledge of Excel;
- Diligent, reliable, and proactive;
- A high standard of written and spoken English. Any other European language is a plus.
- Knowledge of 1 or more programming languages desirable
