    As a Lotus Cars Graduate joining our Graduate & Programmes Function, the ideal candidate will become part of a team helping to define, develop and launch the next generation of high performance electrified Lotus sports cars, as well as 3rd party projects.

    During your 2 year Graduate Scheme, the successful candidate will be empowered to make a real difference to our business, whilst developing commercial, core and technical skills, through rotation and development opportunities.

    Key responsibilities 

    • Successfully complete placements across different business functions, delivering on the required objectives and developing strong relationships across the organisation.
    • Supporting the implementation of business improvement projects and product deliverables.
    • Developing a deep understanding of Lotus operations and area functions.
    • Building a personal brand and network within the Lotus family.
    • Developing core skills within the home functions.
    • Accelerating career development and technical knowledge.
    • Developing an understanding of the culture at Lotus and understanding the product DNA.
    • Developing strong working relationships with functional mentors and rotation managers.
    • Maintaining effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create a sense of community amongst teams at all levels and departments within Lotus.
    • Working in a fast-paced environment, with an output focussed mindset.
    • Demonstrating the ability to critically review work streams.
    • Providing improvement ideas and solutions.
    • Working within a small / medium sized enterprise, undergoing substantial change.

    Knowledge, skills and experience required

    Essential

    • Degrees within any of the following: Aeronautical, Computer Science, Control Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Mechatronics, Motorsport, Robotics Software, Systems Engineering, User experience design (UX) and Vehicle Engineering.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
    • Flexible and able to rapidly reprioritise and produce excellent outcomes.
    • Valid UK Driving Licence as travel across the Lotus UK sites may be required.

    Desirable

    • Industry experience, coursework, or project delivery within the degree fields listed above.
