    Lotus is seeking a self- motivated Graduate Software Engineer, who has the capability in a range of System and Software engineering skills. The role involves working within the Systems, Software and Electrical teams.

    The ideal candidate would be capable of supporting our exciting Sports and Hyper car engineering projects, with experience in either Electrical engineering, Software development, or Systems engineering, across a wide range of vehicle functions, including Body Electronics, Interior Control, Powertrain Control Systems, EV Control Systems & Chassis Control systems in both developments, and testing and validation.

    Knowledge, skills, and experience required

    • Embedded software/control system development experience, for example, Arduino/Raspberry Pi based projects.
    • Electrical design/electrical engineering experience, for example, sensor and actuator interfacing, PCB design, Wiring harness.
    • Vehicle testing and 'integration' experience, for example, fault finding on complex electrical systems designs.
    • Complex system design experience, for example, designing an end-to-end system, involving multiple control units, sensors, actuators, and/or messaging protocols.
    • Vehicle simulation experience for vehicle dynamics or chassis control systems.
    • Software development experience for any automotive software solutions, for example, Infotainment or ADAS.
