Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in the Manufacturing Engineering Department to join us at out site in Norwich.
Summary
The role involves supporting the cars side of the business in the technical management and maintenance of existing production lines, as well as the development and introduction of new processes and tooling, to support new products to those lines. The role provides the opportunity to undertake a wide range of tasks and enables the successful candidate to work with many different areas of the business.
What you'll do
- Be the first point of contact for all welding and fabrication issues.
- Carry out Root Cause Analysis and process rectifications.
- Carry out PFMEA and Equipment/Personnel and Facility Risk Management activities.
- Promote and maintain a healthy, safe and clean working environment.
- Production & Project support.

- MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Project skills & use of process systems.
- Logical thinker for problem solving and process planning.
- Knowledge of Welding and Manufacturing processes.
- Experience of working within a fabrication environment.
