    Become our Assistant Accountant and be part of something special!

    We are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant who is looking to qualify or continue with their qualification to join our fast growing and dynamic finance team. The role reports into the Head of Systems and Project Accounting and you will be exposed to a great deal of different areas of the business, working on a range of projects, supporting the whole finance team as well as the wider operations. There is great potential for progression within the business and a training contract will be provided to the right candidate.

    What will you do?

    • Assist with the delivery of monthly, quarterly and year end tasks
    • Process journals, purchase orders, invoices and caravan sales transactions
    • Complete Balance sheet reconciliations
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and project work
    • Support the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes
    • Help with the integration of new acquisitions into the business
    • Support in the roll out of new finance processes, systems and reporting
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally

    What are we looking for?

    • Keen to work towards/complete their accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
    • Some industry experience preferably
    • Commercial approach to life and eager to learn
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Able to influence, adapt, challenge and implement change
    • Able to work to deadlines and contribute to the development of systems
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Full driver’s licence required
