Moët Hennessy - Sales Internship (Off Trade) London 2024

This role provides comprehensive support to off-trade sales activities, focusing on both internal operations and customer-facing efforts. It involves managing a portfolio of products across Waitrose and M&S, ensuring smooth sales operations and enabling brand success behind the scenes and in action.

Responsibilities of the role

Waitrose - 23 skus in portfolio

  • Store visits to check promotional activity, competitor analysis and media activity at least once every 4 weeks. This also sometimes involves brand teams and Trade Marketing Manager
  • Web cycle invoices checking vs EPOS and FTT report and tracking spend
  • Raising of new FTT/reduce FTT
  • PAF recording and post Eval
  • Support EPOS and comments weekly – analysis of current trend.
  • Support on all incoming inbox requests. I.e., new Moet packaging, Vintage change overs etc.
  • Set up on Waitrose Connect system, complete training to pass
  • Tracking of secondary space, media and gate fee invoices
  • Anaplan alignment, reaching out to the demand planners once every 6 weeks if not sooner depending on the time of year, cross checking with all orders that come in
  • Support with approving all orders via CS and reviewing stock landing
  • Uploading all promotional activity for BWS on Waitrose portal and via Excel doc
  • Support e-Key Account Manager Grocery/Trade Marketing Manager in approving/providing assets for all artwork for print and online media
  • Recording of media, secondary space and ticket fee invoices. Check vs JBP docs. SDrive.
  • Sharing promotion RSP updates info internally
  • Promo planner updates
  • Support in updating the JBP trackers for quarterly review
  • Supporting the team across key customer events and trainings by arranging samples, point of sale materials as well as managing guest lists
  • Raising free goods forms for samples and tastings
  • Compiling a monthly summary of Specialist’s marketing activities

Waitrose Projects & Customer Facing

  • Support on brand vision days
  • Support on ROI review
  • Support Sharing key internal updates CDE/ CGS/ BV/ GMO
  • Weekly monthly quarterly check in/business reviews with the buyers
  • Support Trade Marketing Manager with monthly checking with the Waitrose Media Planner
  • Support monthly check ins with MHUK e-Key Account Manager Grocery on citrus strategy and performance

M&S – 4 skus in portfolio

  • Same principles as Waitrose above
  • Opentext order processing
  • Follow up for confirmation on promo activity and raising of invoices

M&S Projects & Customer facing

  • Quarterly business reviews with buyers - insights from data
