Waldon Telecom operates as a Wireless Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for another Trainee Acquisition Surveyor to be part of our very successful Mobile Telecoms Acquisition NTQ team in the UK.
What will you be doing?
This exciting two-year Graduate programme: this role fits within the award winning Waldon Telecom Acquisition Department and you will work collaboratively with the acquisition, planning, build and design teams.
You will identify locations for brand new cell sites, negotiate the lease, use seeing them all the way through to integration. *Warning you will be showing off to your friends and family “that’s my site !”*
From day one you will be appointed a mentor , who will work with you through the competencies required to become an Acquisition Surveyor and fulfil the experience requirements of the RICS APC Programme.
The role will involve hybrid working between the office & home. There will also be an element of travelling, around 2 days a week.
What will your key responsibilities be?
- Receiving training in relation to the required competencies and achieving sign off
- Surveying and Locating potential hosts for ECA
- Providing advice to clients in relation to solutions for replacement sites
- Supporting litigious and consensual routes to acquisition of solutions
- Valuation and submission of recommendations to client
- Negotiation and completion of heads of terms, whilst taking client instruction
- Working closely with in internal and external legal teams
- Populating internal and external databases
- Managing a portfolio of properties to handover to build teams
- Co-ordinating with the design departments to facilitate site surveys establishing viability
- Submitting supporting documentation to the planning teams
- Monitoring achievement against SLA and reporting mitigations to client
What competencies are we looking for?
- UK Full Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel
- An RICS accredited degree or a relevant honours degree with the desire to undertake further study
- A passion for learning and gaining new skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Proven ability to work both independently or as part of a team
- Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and work flexibly with changing priority .
- Highly motivated
- Excellent IT and Database skills
