Mace offers its clients a fully comprehensive project management consultancy service supporting the development and implementation of major transport projects, we provide a flexible and highly bespoke service based on a well-proven formula for delivery.

The opportunity
A fantastic opportunity to support Mace's marketing and work winning teams through the full end-to-end proposal process – from initial interest, to bid submission, monitoring progress, and post-tender activities. We are looking for someone creative to work with our marketing and communications and bid graphic design teams. You’ll be exposed to a mixture of digital design tools and approaches, from web design to video production to graphic and document design - taking content and turning it into a finished product to communicate our brand with high visual impact to our clients.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Brand Design Team
- Has a portfolio of beautifully crafted, thought-provoking design work and is able to communicate their processes effectively
- Create compelling creative assets such as graphic content that respond to internal briefs
- Have the opportunity to grow your skillset and learn every day by working closely with multiple teams across the business
- Collaborate with your fellow creatives and contribute creative ideas to the design process
- Support project teams to produce striking visual identities and deliver to client briefs
Work winning
- Supporting the production of high-quality brochures, presentations and documents for client meetings
- Supporting the design of branding concepts for major tenders and joint ventures
- Supporting the development and delivery of tender responses, presentations and supporting tender collateral
- Maintaining our content and asset libraries
Your work base will be flexible and could be in one of Mace offices or at a client’s office or facility. You will gain exposure to all aspects of project delivery from concept design, through to construction, commissioning, validation handover and into operation.
The start date for this programme is June 2023.

This programme is for university students who are in their first, second, or penultimate year of their degree. You’ll also need GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above. Candidates must studying a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar.

As a summer placement you will be supported through a 10-week programme which will focus on your development as well as exposure to the business area that you join. And, if successful, you could be made an offer to come back the following year to join another placement programme or the graduate development programme.
