    We are seeking a motivated Trainee IT Technical Support person to join our team in Inverness. The successful candidate will play a key role in our digital transformation journey, ensuring the efficiency of our systems, managing user demands, and continually enhancing customer satisfaction. This role will be ideal for a recent IT graduate or someone who is keen and willing to develop their IT skills.

    Key responsibilities

    • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
    • Deploy, develop, and maintain Office 365 applications.
    • Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades.
    • Communicate with clients and computer users to identify and resolve issues.
    • Provide technical support by investigating, diagnosing, and resolving software and hardware faults.
    • Repair equipment and replace faulty parts as necessary.
    • Participate in infrastructure planning and installation.
    • Plan, install, and maintain CCTV systems.
    • Travel and stay overnight occasionally as required.

    Skills and experience

    • Knowledge of business systems, Office 365, and network infrastructure.
    • Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • Detail-oriented and methodical approach to tasks.
    • Must have strong literacy skills with the ability to present information clearly.
    • Full UK driving license.
    • Positive attitude towards new challenges and change.
