Within this market, we use our strong position, knowledge, and financial intelligence to match buyers and sellers to optimize deal structures. For our new trading team in London, we are seeking Junior/Graduate Carbon Sourcer for the South American market.
Job description
We are looking for a motivated, organized and hard-working Sourcing Analyst to join our Trading Team. This role will have the opportunity to work with various functions throughout our business and get exposure to carbon sourcing projects. We are looking for a sourcer who has an interest in carbon market mechanisms and sustainability and is eager to learn to become part of our rapidly growing business.
In this entry-level position, you will work as part of our Trading team, you will be providing support to the Business Development Team. Also, you will be assisting in various aspects of Trading and supporting key carbon market projects.
Being in our Trading team will give you an excellent opportunity to Innovate, experiment, iterate and learn. The environment in our team will enable you to seek continuous improvement during your day-to-day activities to ensure those insights are captured, shared, and integrated.
Job requirements
- Support South America project sourcing and daily operations for carbon credits and possibly other environmental market products.
- Ongoing or recent graduate in environmental sciences, economics or sustainability related field.
- Good communication and collaboration skills with clients and team members.
- Autonomous yet collaborative approach to work.
- Analytical skills and mindset.
- Diligent, reliable and proactive.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Full professional proficiency in English and local South American language such as Spanish or Portuguese is a must.
