Role
As a Graduate UX Designer, you will work across the design cycle, by helping to generate a detailed understanding of user needs, creating conceptual and detailed designs, and validating them. You will work closely with other designers both in your immediate UX team and within our company wide Design Community of practices.
Day to day could look like
- Working on specific applications and products for both our external customers and our internal users
- Working closely with Product Owners, UI Developers, and Software Engineers in creating solutions
- Managing design tasks; from explorative research and conceptual wireframing to prototyping and usability testing
- Acting as an advocate for UX methods and best practices and use design as an agent for change. Challenge the status quo and help refine the scope and functionality of future products and applications
- Assisting in the development of site maps, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and production-ready specs
- Collaborating with the rest of the design community within Maersk to ensure a consistent and cohesive experience across Maersk products
Who We’re Looking For
- Passionate about a career in Technology, specifically User Experience Design
- Studying or have recently graduated a degree in Digital Design, Interaction Design, or related degree
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
- Ability to work independently with stakeholders while liaising and reviewing with fellow designers
- Working knowledge of desktop experiences
- Familiarity with design software and systems
