The role
Over your three year graduate programme you will be supporting senior planning professionals to:
- Secure a supportive national, regional, and local planning and transport policy framework for all the group airports
- Deliver timely planning and other related permissions by mitigating and managing planning related risks to growth and development and ensure operational regulatory compliance with all Planning and related legislation
- Create and deliver policy compliant land use strategies & master plans to inform the optimum long-term use of the Company’s land assets and capital investment programmes
- Create and sustain powerful and effective external stakeholder relations to ensure MAG’s development interests are realised and/or protected.
What will make you successful in this role?
You’ll need an eye for detail; the ability to analyse and interpret complex data and evidence, mitigate and manage risks, and deliver comprehensive reports, strategies and masterplans to help MAG reach its goals.
You’ll need to be an excellent communicator and a skilled collaborator, working closely with and presenting ideas and information to internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you will also have a degree in Town & Country Planning or closely-related discipline.
Lastly, to meet our security clearance requirements, you should have lived in the UK for the last three years.
