We need a Graduate Technical Content Developer to join our UK team. You’ll create engaging and useful information to support our scientific product range in the form of HTML-based help, printed content and e-learning courses. Working within the Customer Technical and Applications Services (CTAS) group, you’ll generate content that really helps our customers get the best from our scientific solutions. We expect curiosity, team spirit, attention to detail and exemplary written skills.
For this full-time, junior level role we’re happy to support hybrid remote working alongside regular site visits to Malvern UK. Please note, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
What are your responsibilities
- Developing technical content for digital and hardcopy information sources
- Writing editing and structuring large volumes of technical information
- Creating images and video to support your technical content
- Working within defined business processes and systems
- Developing userlevel domain knowledge about our product range
- Communicating with SMEs to facilitate good information flow and content reviews
What do you need to be successful in this role
- Relevant degree STEM writing or analytical at level 21 or above
- Native level fluency in English
- Technical ability and affinity for information development
- Real passion and aptitude for written communication
- Genuine desire to work in a scientific environment
- Innate curiosity that drives you to explore new ways of working
Great to have
- Demonstrable knowledge of creating technically complex information for print or digital elearning printed guides websites help systems
- Exposure to technical writingelearning tools like MadcapGit Articulate and Adobe
- An active interest in technologysciencesoftware
- The ability to spot a typo at a thousand paces
