    Man Group's Operations Graduate Programme provides a unique opportunity to gain challenging and interesting experience within a performance-driven, global investment management business by rotating through three placements within the Product and Client Operations department over a two-year period.

    As one of our trainees, you will gain a thorough understanding of a range of operations disciplines, including client operations, middle office accounting, trading operations and change management, in addition to being given exposure to different teams and business areas.

    Having completed the programme you will be well-placed to develop a long-term career in Operations at Man Group with an expectation that you would be capable of progressing into a permanent role and potentially a leadership role in the future. Both professional studies (e.g. CFA, CIMA) and on-the-job training will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You will also have direct access to Man Group's leadership team as a senior leader from Operations will be provided to each trainee to act as their mentor.

    What Are Man Group Looking For?

    We are keen to hire candidates who have obtained/are expecting a degree from university and who can demonstrate a genuine interest in a career within Operations. In addition, you must be able to show you have initiative, are analytical with an eye for detail, keen to learn and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.

    The successful candidate will commence in their role by September 2023 and will be paid a salary at a competitive market rate.
    In a Nutshell: Rotate through three 8-month placements in our Operations Department.

    Responsibilities

    The rotational nature of the role means specific responsibilities will vary from team to team. In all areas it is expected that the individual will:

    • Assist the team in the execution of their duties
    • Play an active role in the team

    Key Skills & Experience

    • Educated to degree level
    • Computer literate with MS Office competency and have the ability to learn new systems
    • Analytical, logical thinker with an eye for detail
    • Ability to understand risk
