About the candidate

We are looking for someone who brings energy, enthusiasm and the right character to our busy press office team. This is someone who is keen to learn, develop their skills and take the chance to work across different comms teams.
More than anything we want someone who is passionate about Manchester and can help us tell the city's story in a fun and engaging way. We're looking for someone who has an interest in writing and wants to improve how they write. Good communication both written and spoken - and across lots of format, including social media - is welcomed.
Ideally the successful candidate also has an interest in creating video, audio and social media content. But importantly is willing to learn and develop their skills.
