This is an interesting and varied role. You’ll have daily contact with Registered Housing Providers all around the City of Manchester. You’ll support officers using the Manchester Move system to assess rehousing applications and let their properties. You’ll be responsible for providing training and monitoring that work is done consistently across the partnership of 16 providers.
Another important part of the job is supporting the Service Development Manager in testing new developments to the system, as well as updating and managing the Manchester Move website.
You’ll also be producing accurate statistics from the system, using Microsoft Excel, on a regular and ad hoc basis.
About the Candidate
- We are looking for a confident communicator. This includes providing training to groups of housing officers and other stakeholders.
- You will also need to be proficient in using Excel to analyse data and produce accurate summary tables and charts for a variety of purposes.
- You will need a very well developed attention to detail, both for producing data, updating the website and when testing new developments.
- It would be a desirable if you have worked in a social housing, particularly lettings, environment.
